Our beloved Tobey came to auction at the Ducks Unlimited event 14 years ago. He lived for retrieving a variety of birds, as he spent ample time in the fields and duck ponds with Tim. During the spring and summer he was our boat mascot . He turned excited when the fish suddenly jumped around our boat. If Tim was catching one, so was he!
Tobey traveled the country in the RV with his big head resting on Tim’s shoulder.
He loved standing in the stream of ice water at Lake Taneycomo. He ventured through an assortment of lakes throughout the country. In his prime, Tobey challenged the rabbits to a race, but would never harm a flea– so the rabbits always won. Tobey’s legacy will continue, as he happily sired seven healthy litters of pups. Tobey was a beautiful, stout yellow Labrador who love rolling on the snow and smelling the flowers. He was a loyal companion and our best friend. He was faithful to the end. Tobey, aka Bear B
